I decline to identify with any particular label, but I mourn the loss of "liberal" from the English language. I can't think of anyone in public life I truly look up to. I insist that anyone who purports to be qualified to lead be smarter and more capable than I am. There are such people. George W. Bush is not one of them.

Since Colbert couldn't get on the ballot I'm lending my full support to the Benito Giuliani-Cthulhu campaign.
Cthulhu? Really? I hadn't heard. It'd be refreshing to see a Republican with some compassion in him.
